DRAFT Strategic Community Plan - have your say

Provide feedback on our Shire’s direction and priorities over the next 10 years

Following extensive research and public consultation throughout 2025, The Shire of Halls Creek now invites community feedback on its Draft Strategic Community Plan 2026–2036, titled Our Home, Our Future.

The draft sets out a proposed vision and priorities for the next decade under four themes.

These themes cover community safety and wellbeing, economic opportunities, the environment, culture and how we work together.

The plan is for the whole Shire, including Halls Creek townsite, remote communities and outstations.

We encourage you to read the draft and tell us what you think. Does it reflect what matters to your community? Have we got the priorities right? Is anything missing?

Email your feedback to shire@hcshire.wa.gov.au by 23 October 2026.
